Wireless N is one of the many formats of WiFi. Wifi is just a term to describe wireless access for laptops and other wireless devices.

Wireless N is the newest (non-standardized) format. It is much faster than the other formats (wireless A,B,G) and is backwords comatible with b/g routers and access points. It also gets much better distance than any of the other formats.

Hi, Nowadays Wi-fi is in demand as compared to wireless..so everyone opts wi-fi because of its speed and connectivity. Even I also prefer it.
